Now in our 85th year, Scarsdale Adult School is a proven source of quality adult education, serving Westchester and nearby communities in person and expanding over the past few years to include online participants from around the globe. SAS strives to build a community of lifelong learners through its bespoke classes and its hand-selected cadre of world-class instructors.

The Scarsdale Adult School is totally self-supporting. We receive no funding from any school district or municipality. The costs of instructors, operational fees, and staff salaries are met by tuition and the generous tax-deductible contributions of the members of our Board of Trustees and Advisory Committee, ongoing supporters, and new donors. Our tuition rates remain low to provide affordable adult education opportunities for a greater number of students.
