MARJORIE C. MILLER is Professor Emerita in the Philosophy and Asian Studies Boards of Study at Purchase College. Her teaching and research interests have included Chinese Philosophy as well as other areas. She spent two years living and teaching in Shanghai as a Fulbright Fellow, has lectured widely in China, and is passionately interested in the country, its people, and its thought. She also lived and taught in South Korea on a Fulbright, and recently led a trip to Dharamsala, India to study Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, art and culture.
