Instructor Biography: Michael Boriskin
Pianist MICHAEL BORISKIN performs in over 30 countries, is a prolific recording artist, and serves as Artistic and Executive Director of Copland House, the award-winning creative center for American music based at Aaron Copland’s National Historic Landmark home in northern Westchester. Throughout his varied and acclaimed career, he has also lectured around the world and been frequently heard as performer and commentator on NPR, was Music Director of Mikhail Baryshnikov’s famed White Oak Dance Project, authored countless articles in national publications, and served as program consultant for the New York Philharmonic, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and U.S. State Department.
