MELISSA FRAZIER is a professor of Russian Language and Russian and Comparative Literature at Sarah Lawrence College. She received her AB at Harvard and her PhD at University of California at Berkeley. She has published extensively and was awarded the 2007 Jean-Pierre Barricelli Prize for Best Work in Romanticism Studies by the International Conference of Romanticism.
