| MASAYO KANEKO is an independent scholar whose research and teaching interests include Modern Contemporary and Premodern Japanese Literature, Films, Culture, and Language, and Gender and Buddhism in medieval Japan. She has taught at New York University, University of Pennsylvania, and Earlham College. She received her PhD in East Asian Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and her MA in Linguistics from Indiana University. | |
