Instructor Biography: Bob Kerr
BOB KERR began his overseas adventure as a Peace Corps volunteer teacher in Lesotho in Southern Africa in the early 1980s. Touched by his exposure to apartheid, he returned to the U.S. determined to better understand the machinations of U.S. foreign policy. He obtained his master’s in International Relations from Columbia University, entered the Foreign Service, and for the next 25 served as a public diplomacy diplomat, overseeing small and large campaigns to articulate U.S. foreign policy messages in 19 countries in 9 geographic region and subregions of the globe.
