MOLLY NESS earned a doctorate in Reading Education from the University of Virginia. Since 2006, she has been an associate professor of childhood education at Fordham University. She is the author of three books and multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals. Her research focuses on reading comprehension, teachers’ instructional decisions and beliefs, word study, and matching books to readers.
