Instructor Biography: Jacob Friedman
JACOB FRIEDMAN is on the music composition, technology, and theory faculty at Hoff-Barthelson Music School. He is also a composer and pianist whose work in film scoring, orchestral composition, world music and songwriting reflects his ability to cross musical borders and create a global aesthetic. Friedman has scored the music for numerous films and has performed his jazz and classical compositions alongside acclaimed artists at renowned recital halls. He double-majored in music and religion at Columbia University and earned a master’s degree in film composition at NYU.
