In addition to the traditional long term financial planning questions, MIT AgeLab asks those contemplating retirement to ponder holistic issues to ensure quality in longevity.  For example, how will you stay involved in your community or grab coffee with a friend?  Do you want to volunteer or work part-time?  Are there opportunities for lifelong learning?  The answers to these questions serve as a starting point for retirement planning and preparedness — in both the monetary and personal/emotional sense.  This class delves into AgeLab's research on the trends in demographics, technology, and lifestyles in order to create a financial plan for a satisfying retirement.
