Painting with Pastels

Get colorful and creative with basic pastel drawing and painting techniques, exploring the beauty of the pure pigment of pastels, materials, color theory, and more. Through demonstration and instruction, paint a variety of subjects such as animals, flowers, and travel posters. Students will work at their own pace to complete approximately six to eight projects as well as some smaller associated studies. Class is suitable for all levels.

Materials list: soft color pastels, and 11"x14" pastel or mixed media paper pad.
