Painting with Pastels

Pastels, with their wide range of vibrant hues, offer a fresh way to create paintings filled with color and light. Instruction will begin with the basics of drawing, followed by step-by-step introduction to the use of pastels with attention to style, color and composition.  All levels welcome.

Suggested Supply List:
1) A set of 24 soft pastels (Not oil pastels) - she has not indicated any particular brand but suggested NuPastels, shes uses Sargent soft pastels and CarbOthello pastel pencils;
2) Canson Mi - Tientes pastel paper pad in assorted colors;
3) A kneaded eraser; and
4) A pencil.
