Ancient Greek and Roman Civilization

Explore the rich legacies of Ancient Greece and Rome in a course that blends history, mythology, language, and art. Delve into Roman history and Latin, uncover the stories of Greek mythology through interactive storytelling, and try your hand at painting traditional vase scenes on pumpkins. The course also includes introductory lessons in both Ancient Greek and Latin, providing insight into the roots of modern language and culture. The experience culminates in a guided visit to the Greek and Roman galleries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to connect classroom learning with world-renowned artifacts.

Please note the class on 8/14/25 will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Students are responsible for their own transportation. Museum entrance fee AND art materials are included in the class fee.
