The Studio Museum in Harlem is the nexus for artists of African descent locally, nationally, and internationally, and for work that has been inspired and influenced by Black culture. It is a site for the dynamic exchange of ideas about art and society. Undertaken as a public-private initiative in partnership with the City of New York, the new 82,000-square-foot building reopened in the fall of 2025. The tour includes the special exhibitions Tom Lloyd (running November 15, 2025 through March 22, 2026) and From Now: A Collection in Context (running November 15, 2025 through August 16, 2026).
