« back to classes page
Learn classical techniques for accurately drawing realistic human figures with spirit. Instruction will prioritize gesture, structure, composition, and the likeness of the model. Through demos and critiques, students will focus on line, form, measuring, linear drawing, value compression, and negative space to create a dynamic portrait. Along the way, hone the skills that apply to drawing people, landscapes, and more for sketchbooks and other projects in the future.
