This course examines pivotal events in our nation’s history and their relevance to our present day.  Each session will comprise three parts: a review of the event, the historical context in which it took place, and its relation to our contemporary times.

Friday, June 5 - The Vietnam and Counterculture Legacy of the 60s
Friday, June 12 - Lessons from the Nixon and Clinton Impeachments
Friday, June 19 - The Digital Age
Friday, June 26 - Earth Day 1970 and the Birth of Environmentalism
Friday, July 10 - 9/11 and the Era of Endless Wars

10:30 am  - 12:30 pm.

Classes are $25 each.  Register for all or many!
