Refunds and Credits

  • If your class is cancelled, we will refund your tuition.
  • If you need to cancel, you must request a refund at least 7 business days prior to the first class meeting. A $15 processing fee will be deducted from any such refund.
  • If your class has a waiting list, no refunds will be issued regardless of the timing of request.
  • Transferring to another class is considered a cancellation and will incur a $15 fee.
  • No discounts will be given for missed classes.
  • No partial refunds or credits will be given for any reason.
  • Students assume full responsibility for choosing the appropriate course level. If you are not sure which course level is suitable for you, contact us by phone (914 723-2325) or email at Registrar@ScarsdaleAdultSchool.org.

General Waiver

By registering for a Scarsdale Adult School course, I assume all risks associated with attending and participating in the class. I agree to hold harmless from any liability Scarsdale Adult School, its docents, instructors, teachers, volunteers, officers, directors, board members, trustees, employees, agents, or lessors. I acknowledge that the course may be inherently hazardous and that risks to myself include physical injury, including death, property damage, and loss. By completing this registration process, I further attest and verify that I am physically and medically fit to participate fully in the course. I also assume full responsibility for choosing the appropriate course level. The Scarsdale Adult School is not responsible for any advice or consultation given within or beyond the classroom setting and course curriculum material. The School reserves the right to cancel courses that are under enrolled, to change times and locations where necessary, and to substitute instructors.
