Soft Pastels with Alcohol Wash and Watercolor Underpainting

Incorporate into soft pastels the beautiful technique of underpainting using alcohol washes and watercolor. Explore a variety of subject matter such as land and seascapes, still-lifes, and animals through impressionistic and more realistic aesthetics. Each session will consist of a guided demo, independent art-making, and an end-of-class share. Some materials will be provided by the instructor at no charge.
